Small Dog Syndrome

After witnessing a Frenchie bite at her *own* owner's hand last night at the dog park when he tried to take away a toy, I got to thinking about 'small dog syndrome'!!

Here's a cool check-list. It's neat to read dog behavior for what it actually is, rather than what humans assume it to be (i.e. - a lot of people tend to think that if their dog growls at someone who approaches their owner, the dog is 'PROTECTING' him/her!! Awwww!! When in reality, your dog is CLAIMING you!!)

Sent it over to my sister in law who has a chihuahua puppy who has practically all of those traits who will be moving in with us in a few weeks *facepalm*

My little frenchie is NOT going to behave badly. Her dog will be shunned to her room...
