Hi everyone!

I've been lurking here for a while-- our family has seen a number of life changes since that one and only post that I ever made here. At the time we had a chinese crested named Stella who we were working through some intense fear/anxiety issues with. She ended up going back to live with her breeder (sadly she was very undersocialized and to this day is only ever secure when she is with her "pack" of cresties). Since then we had another baby and rescued a senior mama dog who is super stable and the perfect companion for our now 2.5 and 1.5 year old children.

Over the years I have done a great deal of research and this year we finally found a breeder who is a great fit for us (she does all the health testing we were looking for and breeds for a little longer snout, healthier spine, etc). She has a puppy available from parents that we really liked, so if all goes well, she will be coming home with us later this summer.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and sharing pictures of our new little baby!

thank you! yes, it has been a long but very fun process for me. our little girl comes from a breeder that I think [MENTION=377]MaplesMommy[/MENTION]'s little guy has in his parentage. good healthy lines and SUPER cute puppies! we'll wait a few more weeks to make a choice on a puppy- I can't wait to share pictures!
