I just switched our 10 month old pup Brody's diet from Ziwipeak Beef to Stella and chewys freeze dried beef and we were wondering how the feeding guidelines worked for everyone? He's about 15lbs right now and were feeding him 6 patties a day, 3 in the morning and 3 at night reconstituted with water, but noticed that compared to the Ziwipeak he just hasn't looked quite as full at the waist after eating. The bag says for a 20 lb dog he should have 5 patties and the feeding guideline online said for a puppy with a estimate of 20 lbs full grown he should have 6 patties. We were wondering if we should be feeding him more or if it's just a faster digestion since its a different kind of food? He gets treats throughout the day but is also fairly active with walks.
