Hello all!
Our family has a 13 week Frenchie. Is demeanor has been just the best and we've been so blessed to have him in our family. The day we brought him home, he was content. He ate right away, slept well and woke us up to potty. He's been learning to let us know when he's ready to go out to potty, knows a few basic commands, and even does really well on a leash. He has been pretty independent around the house. Loves to run and play with his toys. He runs through the whole house and have learned to run up the stairs (going down is much slower thanks to his little belly). Yesterday he suddenly became very fatigued. He slept most of the day and when he was awake he just wanted held. He barely played and showed no interest in being outside (he typically signals he needs to potty just to get outside to play at least once a day). He didn't ask for more and more food like normal. This morning is no different. He slept two hours later than normal and is already napping again. The articles I've read it seems like he is too young to be teething and it doesn't appear that his gums are swollen or irritated. Is it possible he is teething or is this a normal phase?
Thank you for any insight you could offer.
