Hi Erika,

Ollie has good days and bad. It seems that when we take him to the beach or park on the weekends and he runs and plays it's hard fro him the next 24 hours. He never cries in pain or slows down while at the park or beach. you would never know he's got back issues.....but once we get home and he quiets down and sleeps for a while then when he goes to get up he yelps out in pain and that happens every-time for about 24 hours. I called the vet and they gave us some inti-inflamatories for after the beach days. We talked a lot about how to manage his pain. The vet is like us and feels we should allow him to be a dog and have fun and when and if things get bad then at least he's living a full and happy life however long that is.... I can't limit his play everyday and constantly worry something will happen. that's no life for him. We do limit his jumping at home and we only go to the parks and beach on on the weekends so in a sence we are limiting him to lots of play to only the weekends. I want him to have a full and happy life, not one cooped up in the house with no fun in the sun. Not everyone will agree with my choices but it's what I want for Ollie. :)

Wow - nice compliment. I do take pics at the meetups and post them up and several people have asked if I take them professionally. But I don't. It's just a hobby. Thank you!

Oh, I was sure you take photos as a profession. What kind of camera do you use? You catch the movements so sharpe edged. Mine always gets very blurry and not focused...not to mention that in most cases the photo shows only half a dog...they are so fast! :)

Well - I was raised by a professional photographer so it's probably in my blood. LOL I bought a Sony A6. I bought it because it has teh fastest frame per second shutter speed. Nikon and Cannon have a max speed of 6 or 7 FPS and the Sony has 11 FPS. So I can capture the movement. I still get blurry ones too. I have to take more than one to get what I want. But it's super fun! I also bought a longer zoom lens for the beach shots too. The Sony is my first decent camera. I will progress, but this one is light and does a pretty good job as my beginner camera. :)

Well that explains it! definitely blood related :) I showed the photos yesterday to my bf who knows about cameras more than me and first thing he said is that those photos are taken with a good high shutter speed camera...definitely not a regular one. Beautiful shots.

Last christmas he gave me a GoPro Hero4 with a special harness saddle to mount on dog's back. Fits perfectly on a frenchie! I'm still familiarising myself what it can do...sadly in most cases when we go out and something exciting happens...well, my camera is home :( I try to get the hang of it and post some videos shot by Moses :D
