I have a french bulldog puppy with 2 and a half months for one week now and she has got symmetric little hair behind her ears. She doesn't scratch that region and the skin is normal... I took her to the vet and we are now waiting for the fungi test results. I was wondering if there is any possibility of being a breed characteristic at that age since the regions are symmetric or is it really an issue that we need to take care.

Thanks in advance.

My Nellie has the exact same thing behind her ears! I've been wondering this whole time if its normal or not. My vet hasn't said anything about it. She doesn't have any bald spots elsewhere. She is also the same colour as yours. So maybe that's why. She itches a bit but not too much. let me know what you find out

It is normal at that age. It does get a little thicker as they age, but not much.

Thank you for the quick responses. I have been looking everywhere for some answers to this and I couldn't find any until now. It's nice to know that it can be normal. It was strange to me the fact that it could be an infection since those regions with less hair are symmetric. I will let you know the test results.
