Hi All!
I am a new mommy to a french bulldog, he is now 6 months old. When we first got him, he started to bite, we figured it was because he was teething so we didn't take it too serious but we always told him "No!". I don't think he is teething anymore, unless his back teeth are coming in, and he still continues to bite, HARD. I was just wondering what ages other pups stopped this mean habit.

My boy was horrible for biting it dropped 85% when he turned 18 months, still nips the under arm for attention and needs correcting

Wow with 18 month? This is very late to stop this kind of unwanted behaviour. But at least it stopped now 85%...

Try diverting the biting to a chew toy. Nipping should not be accepted especially if it gets too rough. He can easily pick up a nasty habit out of it. Just firm No, then wiggle a chew toy. In case he still tries to bite, just stop giving him attention until he is back to more calm and relaxed state.
In case he is still teething and gums are sore, try to give him something cold to chew. That helps with itching. I used frozen carrots, put nylabones to freezer etc.

Agreed with Chiana and all of her tips

also you Just have to be consistent with training! He is still a puppy and needs your direction, he needs to know you are alpha!

Unfortunately in my case have been very ill for 9 months and am still healing and start radiation treatments soon but can now deal with the dog's issues. He was abandoned by mother at 3 weeks and had no siblings so makes it harder when it came to biting issues. He is doing very good now and recognizes the word ouch and becomes softer with his mouth - still nips the elbow if ignored need to work on that
