I love my frenchie, but she does fight with other dogs, and is quite fiercely defensive of my home. She is very gentle with people though and loves to lick everyone and everything. She was a rescue, originally came as a puppy from Russia, and has one ear and one eye badly damaged from fighting before I got her.

I've had some wonderful breeds of dogs but none have made me laugh like Emmy. Such a love bug. Believe it or not I went on some sites and took the quiz on which is the best breed for you and a frenchie came in the top tier on everyone. I started doing my homework and it took 3 years for me to save up the money and convince my husband we NEEDED a French bulldog.....LOL! Best dog ever! Oh, by the way my hubby is totally in love with her.

My dog had started lately just stopping when going on a walk, so I had to pull hard on her leash to get her going. Now she learned that if she lays down that I won't drag her. These dogs learn fast !!
