I've always heard this term, to get toys that a dog can "kill", but I've never really understood what that means. When I search online, the results are a bit creepy and I'm guessing it's the word 'kill' that makes it.

Could I get some examples of these kinds of toys please?

Thanks

I’ve never heard anything specific about toys they can kill but I have observed Gracie attacking her stuffed toys. By that I mean she pounces on them, grabs them by the neck and starts shaking them, like a wild animal might shake prey. These are usually stuffed animal toys. She has other non-animal stuffies that she will chase and chew but she doesn’t shake them in the same way.

We don't get stuffies because Buster shreds them. We get toys for extreme chewers only--like nylabone and kong!

Usually those are toys without stuffing and with strong stitching and fabric, aka indestructible. It doesn't matter with my two, they find a weak spot no matter how tough the toy. The only one they have yet to defeat is the soccer Jolly Ball. Thousands of bites later and it's still not deflated and in one piece.

This is exactly how Cheli is too

I've seen toys like this and this that have an outside that rips off. I've never bought one though. Gus absolutely loves certain stuffed toys and will fetch them and shake them like he's killing them, but, luckily, he does not rip them apart.
