Training basis

I'm not a professional trainer by any stretch of the imagination although I have owned and trained six dogs over the past 20 years. American Eskimo, Keeshond, Lab, Rottweiler, and mix breed hound. Must do things early with puppy is give/takeaway/put hand in food dish. Give toy and take away toy. Play with ears and paws while watching tv or when pup is tired. Teach no bite early and their are very easy tips for daily practices. Train dog to trust and respect you as Alfa . Again Easy ways to establish this. Daily dedication to the dog in the early years are very important to a long fruitful life with your pet. Again this is very easy stuff done on a daily basis. Not only When you have time but when your puppy wants . Biggest tip I can give you....... Exercise! It promotes physical and mental health for both you and your beautiful gift from the heavens. Enjoy

Dog training brings on a whole new meaning after 20 years of training dogs. It's not about training the dog. It's about human training to learning how to communicate to your dog and recognizing and avoiding sending mixed or incorrect messages.
Day 5 with our 8 week Frenchie. She's almost housebroken. She now approaches the back door and barks. Fun stuff.
