V for Vendetta

Went to the dog park for some exercise. Stitch likes to play "police" when dogs starts fighting, he also likes being in the middle and he will sort of stop the fight and bully who he thinks started the fight(most of the time it's the innocent one lol). We had to dig through the dog pile for Stitch and luckily he's alive lol he started running and next thing I know there's this piece of skin hanging, my heart broke a little so we took him home. It fell off and now he has a V shape cut on his left ear. The crazy thing is I don't think he even knows about it. He was active the whole time and even at home. He's a goofball and at least if he gets stolen we know what to look for

They do have a high tolerance to pain, so that doesn't surprise me. I would be very careful at the dog parks, he may run across a fight where he may end up at the bottom, and get hurt badly or worse. I myself do not take ours to off leash dog parks, too many horror stories of people bringing aggressive dogs there.

Yes!!! It's so crazy and I'm scared to take him anywhere after that

Wally got bit pretty bad by a dog at an off leash park. He ran over to play and a dog just snapped at him. The dog was playing with other dogs so I don't know why it bit Wally but I haven't been back since. I found myself refereeing everyone else's dog and it got to be more stress than it was worth.

I'm glad Stitch is OK! He's got a 'bad boy' scar now that makes him look tough!

So glad he is fine! I would just stick to play dates or walks with friends and dogs that you are familiar with. Too many irresponsible dog owners out there and dogs can be unpredictable.
