What to do about our Frenchie's snoring

Hello all, our frenchie is 8 years old and is quite the snorer. Historically, she has slept in our bedroom and the snoring hasn't been an issue because we wear ear plus to dampen the sound of her snoring. Well....we had a baby almost a year ago and we have had to stop wearing the ear plugs in order to hear the baby at night. What we did initially was slowly transition the dog out of our bedroom into the upstairs hallway so that the snoring wasn't as loud. We leave our bedroom door open though so that she can come and go as she pleases. Unfortunately, the dog's snoring is still loud from the hallway and it's affecting our sleep (and therefore our quality of life). I'm wondering if people have any suggestions on what we can do. We already feel bad that we moved the dog's bed in the hallway, and so moving the dog downstairs to sleep will make us feel worse. We could also shut our bedroom door as well so that the dog cannot come into our bedroom at night. I would feel slightly less worse about this, but it might also make hearing the baby difficult. We're open to any creative suggestions.

Don't feel bad about moving her into a different room or floor.... She will adjust it just takes time. Maybe she could start sleeping in a crate? Once they adjust to their crates they usually end up loving them and feeling like its their safe place. You could put in a shirt that smells like you and a comfy blanket, and cover the crate so its dark inside?

How are her nares? If they are really bad, that may be contributing to her problem. Is she really needs them done, that would help with her breathing and alleviate heart strain. It also might lessen the degree of her snoring.

Good luck and congratulations on your baby.

Thank you both for your suggestions. We have used the crate YEARS ago and she despised it so it's been probably 6-7 years since we used it last. We actually lasered off part of her palate and opened up her nares 4-5 years ago or so, but she's still pretty bad from time to time. I think we (mostly my wife) will need to feel more comfortable about leaving the dog downstairs when we sleep.

I would close the bedroom door and use a baby monitor.

Have her palate checked again, as the laser treatment only last so long. She might need it again.

It may need to be done again... Cheli had to be done twice as the palate does continue to grow
