What to give for pain PLZ HELP

What would you guys recommend for pain until we can get to the vet.... She is a 19 lb Frenchie who is having either hip or back pain. Can we give her anything right now to make her comfortable?

I am sorry to hear that. I think .81 aspirin is okay but double check.

CBD oil, if you can get a hold of some.

ASA 80 mg 1-3 times daily is safe.

You can also buy methocarbamol ( Robaxin ) , a muscle relaxant, without a Rx. Dose for that would be about 250 mg ( 1/2 tab ) 2-3 times daily

You can't give a dog ibuprofen or acetaminophen.

Dose for naproxen would be so low it wouldn't be feasible to give, unless you want to make a suspension and give a dose from that. eg. Dose of naproxen for your dog would be about 17 mg once daily. So you could crush up an Aleve 200mg tablet, mix in 10ml water to make 20 mg/ml, give 0.85ml once daily.

If vet says to continue on long term pain relievers, a really good herbal supplement is movoflex, used by 2BullyMama. Another widely used product is Adequan injection by the vet for dogs suffering from arthritis or degenerative joint disease. Laser therapy is also really useful. [MENTION=2]2bullymama[/MENTION]

How did the night go? Any better?

As mentioned, I use Movoflex with laser therapy for Cheli (fused vertebrae) and I highly recommend both. As you know, we used laser for Banks it did wonders for her
