How about a thread where we can share our little one's meals? (& maybe give others ideas?!) :)

Tonight we had:
Grass fed(local) Lamb (meat,organ,bone)
Veggis (organic kale,blueberries,peppers)
Organic Mushroom Complex & Wheat Grass
Free range, GMO free egg.

And because I didnt feel like cleaning up a mess, I did the egg crushing for Maple :D

My pets eat better than me for sure :D

No photo, but Hudson had a pork and lamb grind, goat's milk, coconut oil, and sardines.

We had sous vide filet mignon so I think we are still eating better than him, barely. Lol.

That sounds yummy...Hudsons & your supper as well :)
I had a chicken salat last night. Not quite as fancy :D

I definitely eat better but that's how it works when you marry a chef. :D

I'm boring with my dog's food. Acana Pacifica (fish & egg) and salmon oil or coconut oil. In the morning I also add a bit of lactose free yogurt, as recommended on here. I notice that it really helps with Wally's farts.

Knock on wood, we've been doing SUPER well since I changed up Beezy's diet. She's got a TON of energy, zooming all over the house basically 24-hours-a-day.

I don't have photos, but we're doing Captain Crunch - but not the peanut butter flavor because of her legume allergy - for breakfast and dinner. I give her about 2 cups per meal. I know that seems like a lot, but she's rail thin and seems to eat it with no trouble. She also gets 1/2 can Red Bull in the morning and then we supplement with a Flintstone vitamin. Original, not gummy. Thinking of adding some Starbucks to her evening meal because who doesn't love a cup of coffee after dinner?

Hope I didn't just jinx our success!

Jake likes fresh wild caught salmon on top of his kibble.:p
Stella likes grass fed ground lamb, white rice, veggies(lightly steamed) and a lil fruit. which I top on her kibble (cooked) She picks out peas so I have to mash them. I had to add rice witht the lamb because every two to three weeks she was having bad diarrhea. Seems to be working.

Eggs are the only food, that contain all amino acids. Its super healthy for them. Also, the thin 'lining' right under the shell is full of glucosamine, which is beneficial for the joints.

However,if you want to feed the whole egg with shell, make sure its organic, as commercial eggs get sprayed down with substances to look shiny and clean.

Also, dont overdo the eggs (not everg single day) and its best to introduce slowly ;)

As we all know, Quella has gotten a wide variety in her daily diet and unfortunately, has went through several different dog foods at the same time because she became a picky eater. Now she is on Lotus Duck Small Bites and loves it. I have also realized she is allergic to bananas and strawberries.

Per the below, she is seen eating a raw egg, raspberries, blueberries, yogurt, strawberries, cottage cheese, grated carrots, hardboiled egg, peach, chicken liver, oranges and a hot mess she made of some lettuce.

Penelope is still on Primal Pronto Duck nibs. But she did have some apples yesterday! And one of her frozen beef bones today. And baby girl likes celery too she had some when she joined Dad and I out to lunch at a dog friendly patio restaurant. We've learned so far she doesn't like bananas or green beans lol!

I know this was posted a while ago but do you still do the yogurt and does it still help with gas? My last Frenchie had some definite gas issues and I'm wanting to keep this idea in my mind in case my new pup has the same problem!

Does anyone ever add cottage cheese to their dogs food?

I used to add cottage cheese every now and then as a little treat. I have no reason why I don't any more, probably because I rarely buy it. But Jax LOVED it.
