So just for fun, I was wondering what toys make the cut with your Frenchie. I think it's pretty funny that as much money as I spend on toys, Jake's all time favorite toy is an empty plastic water bottle! As for Stella, a good ole fashion shoe! (Under supervision, of course)

Its shoes for Tallulah too! She likes her crinkle stuffed toys but always seems to have the most fun with shoes. She doesn't chew them, just collects them piling them up on her bed, lol. Some of them are bigger than she is but she still manages to drag them around.

Hudson loves his mini kong squeaker tennis balls and his pirate chicken the most. And any toys made of latex.

Cheli loves all toys.. anything he can chew on basically, but he does not like squeaky toys --- he runs from them

We have to stick with nylabones and Jolly teaser balls. Soft toys get shredded and eaten here!

Jax has a ton of toys and some he plays with more than others but just like Jake, Jax LOVES an empty plastic water bottle.

Benny loves squeaky studies!

Ya Jake loves the way the water bottle slides all over the tile floor so he can chase it like a maniac! So funny to watch.

Ours like their Nylabones and Henri loves my flip flops if he can get to them.

Quella likes the Nylabones Teething Rings and FlexiChew. She also has an Intellectual toy from Martha Stewart that is a tree trunk w/ 2 beavers inside that squeak. Once the beavers are out, she tosses them and the air and loves playing fetch with them, more than anything else. She also likes stuffed animals with dangly legs to wrestle with and toss in the air. I bought her a water bottle squirrel cover and she loved chewing on it as well as annoying me with the crackling noises, but the velcro on the bottom would break open and she'd chew on the water bottle, which would shred and she'd eat the pieces, so no more of that toy. Being she loves it so much, does anyone have any recommendations or brands that have more durable covers so the puppy doesn't get access to the bottle? Every once in a while she'll pull something out of her toy box that hasn't been used in a while and I gleam with pride that it wasn't money wasted.

XoXo from Quella La Roux and her mommy too!

I'm glad to see you have a 'toy box' too. Lol. Guess I'm not crazy.

Now that Bear is potty trained, we scooted his pop-up playpen to the backyard and store all of his toys in it, so now he has a 'toy tent'. Lol.

My dad came over the other day, and it went like this:

Dad - "you have a tent for your dog in the backyard."

Me - "yep"

Dad - "filled with 30-odd dog toys."

Me - "yep"

Dad - "right."

Piper loves her nylabone and a stuffed hedgehog that the breeder gave us with her moms scent on it.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with so much stuff haha. My boyfriend thinks I'm insane. Hudson thinks he needs all the toys. I packed up a (completely full) large trash bag full of toys to donate to the shelter. Hudson took it upon himself to remove every single toy from the bag, and now we have three toy boxes filled to the brim. Spoiled!!

Pierce loves crinkle toys. I found one this week, it was a Cesar Milan toy, that is a skunk. No stuffing at all. Just a quiet squeaker in the head and crinkle in the body. He will take it everywhere. Our problem is Schatzi loves to "kill" anything with a squeaker or stuffing. So far the skunk is safe.
He also loves Nylabone Flexichews. He and Schatzi will go nuts for a bone by Hartz. It is their dental chew I think. It is a nylon bone with the treat molded into it. The only thing I don't like is the nylon is much softer than the Nylabones and they can really get pieces off. I really wish another brand would make something similar. Nylabone has one you put treats on, but they get those off in a second.
His other favorites-plastic water bottles, and a red plastic cup. We just watch him with the cup. Oh, and the other day I set an empty white gallon milk jug on the floor beside the trash can. He grabbed it and proceeded to play soccer with it. He now has his own jug for when we want to be entertained!

Well, I don't have a Frenchie (sad..I know), but my Pekingese loves any stuffed toy. It's weird that she has always known what was hers and what was my daughter's. She doesn't really tear them up or chew them she likes to shake them then roll on them. My terrier mix doesn't play a whole lot now because he is blind but he has always loved any toy, especially a ball. I always have to watch him though because he will chew up anything that he can. Plastic toys with squeakers? They don't stand a chance. Tennis balls? He will hold them with his feet and pull the fuzzy stuff off. He always loved to fetch anything. My Pekingese has never cared too much about fetch, she just liked to run behind him growling and nipping at him. It was like "how dare you have fun". Anyway, needless to say he can't see now so not much fetch going on. He still plays a little with a ball but as soon as it rolls away (every 2 seconds) I have to hand it back to him.

If you sew, you could use some old blue jeans and sew some of your own. You could actually sew the bottle completely up in there. It would be durable. :)
