is there anything we can use to help with sweating around the wrinkles on our dogs nose or should we just keep them wiped daily with sensetive baby wipes or just kitchen paper ??

thanks

Do you mean in the folds? I don't think that is sweat; it is from light eye weeping, at least with Bambi. I just clean and dry them well. It doesn't seem to bother Bambi. Some of the weeping can be natural (eye goobers in other dogs), but some of it can also be due to allergies.

Moses occasionally has issues with nose wrinkles.
There can be like greyish goo in the deepest wrinkles right below the eye, where also all the stuff that can come out of the eye goes.

Normally I wipe the wrinkles daily with baby wipe and dry with dry kitchen towel, sometimes I use baby talc. If no problems I do that few times a week.
If problems starts to show...such as any slimy goo, then I clean the wrinkles on daily basis, sometimes twice a day, first clean with baby wipes and then dry with antiseptic-powder.

It is important to keep the nose wrinkles healthy, clean and "goo-free" to avoid any skin infections.

Yea, that is pretty much all you can do. Wipe daily... I use witch hazel on a cotton pad

I don't wipe daily or even weekly, should I be? :facepalm2:

I'm a new Frenchie Mom, so I'm no expert but I am cleaning Twiggy's once a day with witch hazel. That's what I did with my Pekingese and it worked well.

We have found that giving only filtered water makes a huge difference for Hudson. We clean his folds with malaket wipes.
