I think this is something fairly unique to Benjamin. His housemate Bitty, doesn't vocalize like that, nor do my Daughter's two Frenchies Molly and Leo.

He also has the strangest howl/yodle sound I've ever heard when he's left alone in his crate or whatever.

I've seen videos of Frenchies making all kinds of odd sounds. Not all of them do it though. Benjamin is adorable!
