Hello from Calgary, Alberta!

My husband and I are soooo excited to have 2 Frenchies coming into our home this Saturday! We initially agreed to take a female pup from a breeder's litter, but then after having seen a male that was also available, we decided to get them both. I'm not sure if this will be a great decision, or one of the worst that I've ever made. Hahaha! (I've never had 2 puppies at the same time before) My rationale is that they'll keep each other company, and they'll each have similar energy levels. (We currently own a 10 year old female pug, as well)

This past Nov. we had to put down our 15 yr old male pug, and it was absolutely devastating. He was my first puppy (got him at 7 weeks), and he will always, always have a special place in my heart. I miss him all the time and will never have another boy like him. That being said, I'm not used to having just one dog in the house, so why not 3? :eek:hmy:

I will attach the latest pic of the 2 babies we're getting. Nice to meet you all!

Congratulations!!! They are both adorable! You are so right, the pups will entertain each other! Good decision to get them both!

Sorry to hear about your baby you had to put down, but congrats on the new pups. I say it's always better to have more than one. The two pups will have a blast together, just don't let them play too much, as pups still need their sleep. I would limit their play time until they get a lot older. Have fun and can't wait to see more pics of our babies.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your male pug. That is always so difficult.
Congrats. on your two new babies. They are adorable. Post more pictures from your exciting homecoming this weekend. We love pictues!

Awww; congratulations - they are so sweet. So, these little ones are Penelope and Furgus? I don't know anything about pugs and didn't about frenchies until seven weeks ago. I can tell you, however, that they are as entertaining as they are cute. My only suggestion would be to crate train them early. You don't want to worry about them when you can't supervise them or when you are away from the house. It makes life so much easier, especially once they come to love their crate. Good luck; send lots of pics! So sorry about your little pug.

That is so exciting!!! Congratulations! My fiance and I tell each other all the time that now that we have two dogs, we'll never go back to just one. Multiple dogs are just too much fun and we love knowing that they always have a buddy home with each other, even if just for comfort. I've never had two puppies at the same time myself, so I can't really give much advise for that, but I can assure you that you will not regret your decision (most days, anyway... haha). They will be best of buddies and will give you so much joy. Nothing can replace the loss of a loved pet, but I hope these two can help ease the pain for you.

What sweet babies. They are going to be so much fun!

Hi and welcome! We have siblings too! Olivia and Wilson. They play all.the.time.

Anne, Gidget, Olivia & Wilson

PS - they are adorable!!!

Congrats on the puppies!!! Frenchies are very social dogs and do better when they have a sibling at home with them. There's not much difference to train 2 puppies instead of just one. You'll have such a blast!

I'm so sorry to hear about your pug. :( Your 10 year old pug may question your sanity with the 2 puppies but she will enjoy the company after losing her companion. :)

:welcome3: to FBN!

So sorry for the passing of your sweet boy... they do hold a special place.

Best of luck with the new babies... they are too adorable

Hi and sorry about the late welcome :) Am in Calgary as well

Congratulations!! All I can say is TWO babies at once, I'm jealous you lucky dog. LOL.
