I would add a good doggie probiotic - apparently Fortiflora has been shown to work in giardia cases in mice.
Guidelines from College of Veterinarians say to add metronidazole to the panacur for cases that recur:

Very good read, much appreciated. We did add some metronidazole with panacur for the treatment. Coby has probiotic every day as well.
