Hey guys! I've recently noticed my puppy (14ish weeks old) has a pretty crappy rash on his abomden, groin, armpits and inner thighs. It started with just a few spots, but yesterday I noticed I covered a lot more of his body.

He has an appointment on 9/2 with the vet for the last of his vaccines, but in concerned I need to treat him before then.

Also to note: he doesn't seem bothered by it much. He bites and scratches himself once in a while, but we haven't noticed any excessive itching, licking, or biting. Any help would be appreciated immensely!

It could be an allergic reaction to something.

They look to be from getting irritated. Wipe him with a cool wash cloth each time he comes in from being out... see if that helps

i'm thinking you guys might be right? this morning, it seems like it's gotten a lot better. the bigger bumps are still there, but all that red irritation is gone now.

i don't know much about flea bites, but i assume they last longer than a day??

Another thing you can do for rashes is rub a little coconut oil on the area. Whenever Jax breaks out, I will usually wipe with Duoxo wipes or clean with diluted iodine and then rub a little bit of coconut oil on the area.

aghhhhh new update:

it's back, but there are a few that are larger now and the bigger ones seem pus-filled. And I just saw him biting and licking at his hind legs and feet

It might be worth a vet visit.

It could be a fungus that is very contagious. Take him to the vet!

I agree to take him to the vet for a scraping. Could be mites.

final update: it ended up just being irritation from getting a few too many baths the week he kept getting into his poop. it has since mostly (95%) cleared up, he's been to the vet, and all is well!
