📰 What's new

And then there were two! Introducing Tallulah's new brother!

Oh how exciting! I'm so happy you were selected to get this precious boy! I'm sure he had lots of applicants and it is great that FBRN selected you to be his new forever family. Congrats. Thank you for choosing to rescue and giving this little guy a 2nd chance!

Thank you! Yes,I do feel honored - I believe they had something like 139 applicants in less than 24 hours. We've only had him since Sunday night and are following their procedures for a slow introduction because we want to make sure we do it right and we all live happily ever after, lol.

He is a sweet boy - small 14 pounds at 7 months- but not as small as T, she's only 16 pounds full grown. He's a little taller than her, and a little longer and thinner than she is - and when you have him one on one without other dogs around, he is a big mush! Loves to cuddle and fall asleep on you. But as we found out, with the other dogs around he is 100% bouncing puppy who wants to play, play play! DiMaggio must be thinking, oh no not again - but he is handling it well. Tallulah, who I do believe will love having someone to puppy play with, is just a little leery yet and not quite sure if she wants to jump in there and play, or be the "alpha" and yell at him, lol.

His name has been a hot debate and with 6 family members who all have to agree, not an easy task! I do believe that we have agreed on naming him Manning - after Eli on the NY Giants of course! He was born on Oct 10th ( 10/10) and Eli's number is #10 and we wanted to keep with the sports name theme for our males. I liked Eli but was out voted so Manning seems to fit. We'll see if it sticks otherwise, it's back to the drawing board, lol.

I like both names and Manning does seem to fit that sweet face

Well, i got the name i really wanted....my new boy is officially named Munson. After the Yankee great Thurman Munson. Its the name i had picked for a male before i got Tallulah. My family made me work for it, but i got my Munson [emoji4]

Eeeeeeee!!!! So adorable! Your dogs will get along fine. I think it took about 5 weeks before my older pug would even tolerate my puppies sleeping on the same couch as her, so you just have to be patient. It'll happen! She's GORGEOUS. Congratulations!

Despite the fact that the name comes from a Yankee player ;) Munson is a great name. I love that last pic!!!! Sweet face!

Lovely story - congratulations! We were not looking for another dog - at all - when I found Bambi, and it was the best thing that has happened to us. Ginger and her are great buddies. LOVE the picture of him and your husband! So sweet!!! T''s new brother is an angel :drawheart2: - and so are you for giving him a furever home.

P.S. I can't wait to see him and T all dressed up!
