Best friend visit

My daughter's Am. bulldog came to vist over the holiday weekend. Jake absolutely adores her and they love to play together. I am always such a nervous wreck because of the attack on Stella when she was 5 mos. old. Stella is quite submissive to her now so I think she learned her lesson. (The attack happened after Stella had just finished eating and she ran over to Lexi and snapped at her) She has had a history of food guarding which is a ton better now, but I put Stella in a pen whenever we eat or I am cooking just in case. I love when my daughter visits and it was great that she rescued Lexi, but it's a little more stress than I'd like. Sigh

They are both good looking dogs! I would be nervous too if that attack had happened to me. Kudos to your daughter for rescuing!

Awwww; they are so cute together. I am a nervous Nelly, too. I think once you experience something like that, you're always a little scared.

I'd be nervous too, but it sounds like that has worked itself out. Food is definitely a cause of many fights.

They look so cute! Yeah, I would be nervous too if something like that had happened. But like you said maybe they settled it during that single incident. Good idea though to keep them separated when feeding.
