Hello everyone! I have a 3 year old frenchy named Lani. We just took her to the emergency vet this morning because we noticed she was peeing blood. The conclusion was bladder stones and was wondering if that was common for this breed. She had surgery today and came out ok. I have attached pics of Lani and the stones that they took out. It's crazy how many were in there. We took her to the vet Thursday and they thought it was just a UTI and sent her home with an antibiotic. Things got worse with the blood so that's why we took her in today. She is recovering well and I will be picking her up in the morning. Here are the pics.

Poor girl :( I hope she recovers quickly!

I wouldnt say bladder stones are a common frenchie problem.

What kind of bladder stones were they?

A lot of times they are caused by diet and lack of moisture.

Oh poor Lani! I do not have any experience on this subject either, but just wanted to jump in to wish all the best and quick recovery

They are sending them off today to get analyzed so won't know for a couple of days.

Holy smokes! That is a lot! And some of those are massive! Poor lil lady! Glad she is doing better now

She is not happy but at least her pain is going to be gone. First picture post op

Oh poor baby! She is going to feel soooo much better though. Glad she is doing good.

Poor baby. They may put her on a special diet to reduce th chance that she will get them again. Please keep us updated.

Another well wisher so glad you took her back in can imagine how hard it was on her. Thanks to loving and watchful parents a happy ending, hoping she heals quickly and they stop coming back. Get well Lani

That is a lot of stones! So glad you took her back to the vets and she is in recovery mode now!

Thanks for the well wishes! She is doing a lot better and we are giving her urinary Rx food so it hopefully won't happen again
