Hello guys!
I'd like to ask your opinion on a problem our friends have with their frenchie (our frenchie's brother). For a while now, he doesn't want to go out for walks anymore. As soon as he is out he walks a few feet, turns around, looks towards home and won't budge. He doesn't pull, he doesn't bark, he isn't scarred, he doesn't growl, he's ears are up and straight but he doesn't want to walk towards...walking.
His owners pick him up, take him a few more feet thinking it's something with the area that he dislikes, put him down and the same behavior all over again. They've tried different routes, they even took him by car to the dog park and he doesn't even want to get out of the car. They've picked him up, took him to the park, put him down and he would stay there still even though his sister (our Pepper) would jump around inviting him to play. As soon as they say "Let's go home, Boris" it's like he grows wings and starts marching towards home like he has no issues.
A medical problem has been suggested (spine and/or joint pain) but that isn't the case since when indoors they play together like crazy, running and jumping, and pulling on toys until they collapse
Have any of you had similar issues with your monkeys?
