Hi, I was wondering if anyone uses a car seat for their frenchie and if so, can anyone recommend a good one. Thanks!

I tried a bucket style car seat for stitch before but that didn't work, he was having anxiety and constantly whining so changed it to the hammock style which I like better it's easier to use, as soon as I open the door he just lays there lol you can always try the bucket ones as our babies are spoiled little pigs. Lol

He's actually 30 pounds and fits in the regular sized version just fine.

Buster has to ride in a crate and isn't happy about it unless he can see out a window!

Dougie is 9 months old and weighs 22 lbs. When we travel he has to snuggle up on my lap. Which makes it difficult if I'm the driver.

Banksy always tries to sit on my lap when I'm driving. So dangerous! I need a car seat for them for sure as well. Good thread!

I got it form dogsuppliesoutlet here in Vegas, i really like the bucket seat but stitch jumps out of it or I can't concentrate driving because of him driving, I like the hammock better because he just lays on it and it's easy to clean also depends on the size I suggest trying the bucket first. There's a lot on Amazon you can try searching. Hope this helps!

That seat is fantastic! Dexter goes in his crate in the boot at the moment, but I'd love to get him to stay in a seat. The crate takes up the entire boot space so not ideal, but something like this might be ideal for him. I need to investigate what we have in the UK!

We use a seat belt / harness. Just attaches to your seat belt and wears like a harness. Much safer to have them strapped in.

I ordered one of the leashes that buckles into my cars seat belt. I'll keep you posted how it works once i use it with my dogs harnesses.

Since T is deaf and barks in his carrier (really he's too big but laying down he fits perfectly fine if I need to use it for his own safety) and won't sit still in the car really I only need one for him because he's extremely unsafe and crazy if you're alone with him in the car!

I'm hoping that buckling him in and leashing his harness so he can only sit/stand in the backseat and not go anywhere will help train him and also keep him nice and safe!

Hi,

Is that the small version of the snoozer in the picture?

Thanks

Jose

Chance is a big boy over 40 lbs and we either snap him into the seat belt latch or crate him depending on the distance, time of day and amount of people travelling
