Hi everyone! I am new to the forum. We have a beautiful fawn puppy named Dougie. He is 7 months old. Right now we are so worried about him as he has been suffering with Demodectic mange. He has been on numerous antibiotics and nothing seems to be working. I have posted a thread under health concerns. We are praying he gets better soon.

Thank you! I'm hoping someone can recognize something from the picture I've posted and help us. It doesn't look good to me and we've tried so many creams, antibiotics, etc., etc. Next step is a skin biopsy

I had a bull terrier that suffered from demodectic mange and I remember it took a while for her to get better. I had to give her mitaban dips every couple of weeks until it cleared. I never gave her oral medication for it, so not sure if the antibiotics are for a secondary infection Dougie has. Hopefully Dougie feels better soon and you get it under control.

I love Dougie!!! Good luck with the mange treatments. I'm sure you will eventually prevail and he will be fine. Everyone here can empathize with your concern; you are among friends. Bambi gets a crossed hair and I am a wreck.
