Hello all,
Concerned parent here. On Friday I got a call from my Doggy Day Care that my dog has thrown up twice at camp. I did not think much of it as he sometimes throws up. I get him home and he eats Friday Evening.
I get woken up at 2 am to my dog throwing up three more times as well as him peeing twice in my room (He never pees in the house). I also noticed his balance was off wack and his eyes were going back and forth randomly.
We head over the the urgent care on Saturday and they do some blood work, check his pee, do an x-ray for stones, check his ears and such.
They come back saying he has a pretty bad ear infection and UTI
He was prescribed:
- Baytril Sol. w/dex 30mg ear drops to be administered twice a day
- Ciprofloxacin 25mg
- Prednisone 5mg
- Meclizine 25mg
His balance is still off-wack and he has not ate much since Friday aside from treats and some pizza crust. The eye movement has gone away for now.
Suggestions? I am concerned about the not eating. Suggestions?
