Ear issues - HELP!

I've got a 2 year old frenchie. I took her to the vet last week for a checkup and they noticed some swelling in her left ear. They provided me with some ointment to apply in her ear canal for the next two weeks. Now her right ear has been bothering her as well. Yesterday it was sticking straight out as opposed to on top of her head. I flushed her ear with some ear cleansing solution that the vet had provided me with previously. I flushed it again this morning and it's starting to go back to normal on top of her head, but she keeps messing with it. Any ideas on what the problem may be? Or should I just go ahead and consult my vet? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would go ahead and make an appt. with your vet. They can evaluate both ears and get her on the right treatment plan.

would not chance a hearing issue... agree with others get her back in for a follow up with the vet

Sounds like she may have been starting to get infected in the other ear too.

To help prevent ear infections, a grain free food helps, as well as to be sure to clean them regularly with a good ear wash from your vet. Also, make sure she doesn't get water in her ears- ever!
