Daisy and Hank have been playing a lot more lately. This weekend, I noticed that Daisy has some pretty nasty scabs on her cheeks and at least one small open cut. I'm assuming it is from Hank's puppy teeth. I've started monitoring playtime to try to reduce the amount of times he grabs her cheeks but I'm at a loss on how to prevent it all together without keeping them apart. Any suggestions?

Also, should I be treating the cuts with anything?

Those baby teeth are so sharp! That's what happened to Ruggles when Buster was a baby. Ruggles would growl when he's had enough and Buster always backed off. I would crate Buster sometimes just to give Ruggles a break. I just cleaned the sores with unscented baby wipes and none got infected.

Agree with Alice..... it puppy shark teeth. Daisy will let Hank know when he has gone too far, and I also would just wipe the area and keep an eye on them to make sure no infection or nothing too deep was taking place.

Babies are so naughty! Sounds like poor Daisy has been a very patient sister.
