I am flying in November. My Bubb weighs about 13 pounds and I bought the sleepypod Air. Has anyone used this bag? I am also flying on Delta and I want to be able to use the biggest carrier possible. Any tips or suggestions? Greatly appreciated!

never flown with a dog, but i think you can place a dog under a certain weight in the cabin with you as long as the carrier fit under the seat in front of you --- call Delta and make sure as i could be wrong

I have the dimensions from Delta. Just wanted any tips from those who have flown. Any input helps!

I've flown with Pepper. I have the Sturdibag in Large. She's 19 lbs. I have to admit, carrying her in the bag through the airport is tough because she's heavy in there! But I loved having her.

One tip I have.... I always get anxious traveling, and I especially don't want to be looking for the dog relief areas at the airport... so I brought a pee pad and found a family restroom that was empty and let her potty in there after we checked in, etc. Same for when we landed.

ALSO-- BENADRYL! hehe. It'll make them more calm and sleepy so traveling will be a breeze. We live in NYC so Pepper is used to being in a bag and traveling on the subway a lot, but being on the plane, it's nice to have them chill.

My boyfriend brought Banksy home in the plane with delta. You can bring them on as a carry on and keep the bag by your feet!

I second that! Bring pee pads. You can set one up in the bathroom if you need to. Depending on how long the flight is you might even want to line the bag with a pee pad.
