Frenchie third eyelid irritated and does not want to retract

Hello guy, I am new to the forum and I have a new baby puppy. A four month old frenchie and his eyes are always red and the third eyelid does not want to retract. The vet sent me drops but I do not see any improvements.

Welcome... both look fine yo me.

Cream/white fur will sometimes have pinkish coloring.

Can you get a better picture of eye issue

Best pic I was able to get. So it’s normal for the cream frenchies to have their eyes like that. I’ve seen other and that third eyelid is usually not out, I was scared.

Looks normal to me, my boys third eyelids are just as visible...especially when he is looking up. In the case of such eye ailments as cherry eye, only one eye is usually affected at a time. I would not be as concerned if both eyelids look to be the same and he doesn't appear to have any discomfort. Pretty puppy!

Hi I'm new to this site but have been reading it for the last 6 weeks since getting our first bully Fleur... She to had very pink almost red third eye lids when we first got her she has had two different eye creams but they hadn't got any better.

I thought they should be a little pink but not red.

After reading about feeding coconut oil on this site I stated adding it to her food and it could be a coincidence but he eyes have almost cleared up and are now a light pink!

Thanks for the advice and I'm glad I found this forum.
