Frenchie won't go to the toilet out of the garden....

Good evening,

So all part of the fun is taking your doggy on days out,walks and holidays. Only problem is my puppy (5.5 months) will not go to the toilet any where but the garden. With this we are putting off taking him on days out like the seaside and we fear we won't be able to go on a break away with him.

Any advise?

It is true, they are creatures of habit, but if you take him to a creek or stream where the water is moving gently and he gets plenty to drink, he will go. It is especially good if other dogs have pottied there and he picks up that scent

Try also taking him for a walk with another dog who will poo/pee in front of him.

Agree with Alice... when away form home, take to an area where other dogs have 'gone' and they will naturally want to pee/poo in that area.
