Hello guys!

So my little Monster is taking on his first summer and we hear it's gonna be a bad one. So far his breathing is fine and other than the normal panting he's totally fine in the heat for shorter periods of time. However, we do have a few events coming up that will require him to be outside playing for a bit longer and I'm wondering if anyone is any expirence and recommendations on cooling vests? We were considering the Ruffwear Swamp Cooler but then heard it could be too heavy for our little guys and that the ice pack ones might be better?

Thanks guys!

I haven't used any of the cooling vest, but the evaporative vest are a little lighter then the ones with the ice packs in. I have used the evaporative cloths before at shows and they seem to work pretty well.

We have just ordered these belly coolers to our guys. They are absolutely brilliant and a real hit here among Frenchies.

It is cooling very efficiently. Cooling from underneath is also great that then you don't have to put anything damp on the back so it is more comfortable and easy on the spine/joints etc.
We ordered ours in Ruttunuttu, which is a webshop crafting items especially for bulldog breeds, but what I have heard, these belly coolers can be found quite generally nowadays.

What you do is just soak the cooler in to cool water, squeeze some of the water away, but leave it as wet as possible for longer cooling time. :)
