H&H update

Hi guys! I have been kind of absent from here, life has just been busy and crazy!

Hudson and Henri are doing great. We did have an issue last week where they got really sick (they're fine now) from eating June bugs [emoji849]. But otherwise they're thriving and just completely in love with each other.

Henri is now 22 weeks and 22 pounds. We aren't sure how big he's going to get since he's basically the biggest puppy ever. Hudson is 27 pounds so Henri is fast approaching his size.

I pulled a Frenchie out of the shelter yesterday and my heart is just shattered because of what he's been through. Makes you really appreciate your babies and makes me appreciate seeing all of the ones on here that are so loved.

Anyways, I'll add some photos of my two troublemakers now!

Originally the vet thought he might have some kind of pancreas or digestive enzyme issue because of how emaciated he is but all of his tests come back clear and it looks like he was just horribly neglected and abused . He's on the mend though and he is absolutely THE sweetest boy. He'll be available for adoption through Road Dogs rescue once he's rehabilitated.

He's at the bulldog specialist vet by my house until the 7th getting inpatient treatment. Then he will be transported to a foster home and be up for adoption when he's back to normal!

As far as his story, we really don't know. He was found roaming the streets and is the third Frenchie to be found in similar condition in the same area in the last few months. Though he's in the best shape if you can believe it. The last one was found tied to a pole on asphalt in 108 degree weather and had to have a leg amputated. He's the sweetest thing and was clearly a part of someone's life at some point. He knows how to walk on a leash, wait to be lifted into the car, rides in the car perfectly, knows the word treat...it's just heartbreaking.

What the heck!!!! Omg that is so upsetting. I truly will never understand how people can treat animals in any certain way other than with pure love. Ughhh. Good for you for helping out. Please keep us posted
