Harness

Petco brand! They are really nice!

I like the chest section!

We use a puppia now and I don't love the mesh. Anytime Rootbeer pulls it gets a little stretched out so it doesn't fit as snuggly as I'd like around his neck/chest area. Do you have any issues with the mesh on the Petco harness?

We have also had good luck with the Petco harness. No issues with the mesh. Fits them nicely with all the adjustments you can make around the neck and chest.

Buddy Belt makes him look butch
want a K9 harness

Not at all.

I use the puppia, but it HAS to be the rite fit. He slipped out of the regular one a few times and it didn't fit very well.

We haven't had any slipping out incidents yet but I'm not happy with how it fits from getting stretched out. We used to have a Rite Fit but he grew out of it and they discountined the camo one and I wasnt jumping up and down about any of the other colors available in it. Its not a huge deal I know but I'm particular about things like that.

I really love the fit and the look of the Petco harness.

It's easy to adjust too!

Isabelle has worn the size small adjusted to a smaller setting at 11 weeks old, she is 7 1/2 months old now, still hasn't outgrown it, and she never takes hers off, so no stretching there at all.

We got the camo one because Rootbeer is so dang cute in it but had issues with the slippage. Now we're in a boring black size large ritefit but it works!

I'll definetly look into it. We don't have a petco near us though so it makes it harder to figure out his size and if I like it.

Isabelle is 16 lbs & she's in a small...

Medium would fit but it'd be adjusted smaller, Isabelle's is on only one click on each side for the shoulder/chest adjustment, so if she grows at all she'll need a medium.

Before we had the puppia we have now we had the rite fit in camo and we were going to order another in the next size up but it was discontinued in camo. I just wish it came in more colors. It does look like they may have a few more colors in it than they had last time I had looked though.

Its really hard to size Rootbeer without trying things on. He weighs around 28lbs but he doesn't look like he would weigh that much. Hes also a little taller and slimmer than some Frenchies.

Winston and Hugo have Ezydog chest plate harnesses they are really good, when I have the funds I would like to buy them K9 ones with the changeable Velcro stickers on the side you have them customised :)

We've always used tye puppia harnesses, but bruce is a big puller and it got to the point he'd pull so hard he'd make himself sick. We bought a Hunter harness and so far he isnt pulling on it but we dont know if thats because he's not used to it yet, evan ifhe was it will be alot less strain on his neck. hes in a size large and it fits perfect.

+1 For the buddy belt.. Louie likes to pull so it keeps the pressure off his neck. Not cheap but a quality product.

I have always had the Petco for Pierce, too. He wore the small at first, but now has the medium. He weighs 27lbs. I think you should be able to return it easily if you had to, and they often have sales online they do not have in the stores.
I looked at the Puppia, but it was Summer and it looked more bulky. I didn't want anything that would be too hot.

I primarily use the Gooby brand. They are very comfortable, well made and a great choice for Frenchies. They are super! I have purchased a few from Petco. I didn't like the quality. I also have a Puppia that I like too....but my go to is Gooby. you can get them on Amazon.com.
