Hello! Momma to two adult female Frenchies, rescued last year from a very bad situation that included the dogs being used in a low rent puppy mill, also were told a hoarder or hoarder-like environment. They were rescued by a friend who immediately thought of us to foster them. When we got the girls they had very bad breath and skin, no names and had to be almost on top of each other at all times. Poor girls were traumatized. They were name by our friend as she drove away and back to San Diego with them, appropriately as "Thelma and Louise". Their names stuck and are so very appropriate - Thelma is the younger one and very sassy, she's had at least one litter. The older one, Louise, has had numerous litters, is slower and just wants to be a lap dog. I affectionately call her "Wheezy". They know their names now along with a few commands. They love chasing the ball around the back yard and their walks on the beach.
They are, as my husband likes to put it, living the life of Riley. They are so happy and healthy now!
