Two time Frenchie mama here !!! Our newest baby is 11 weeks!!! And i am joining because I am first obsessed with this breed and second concerned about his bowlegged and possible knuckling happening. I wanted to see if anyone has seen this and if it is an area to be concerned as his breeder said it is normal. My boys are from the same breeder and his older brother is beautifully healthy! Max is our fluffy white frenchie and Deebo is our blue brindle … any feedback I would love dearly as I am pending taking him to a specialist for frenchies.

What a cutie, and welcome to the site. Hopefully someone here can offer you some advice.

Welcome to FBN nd congrats on the new baby! Sorry, I have no insight on his leg, but I hope it is something that will correct itself as he grows.

I’m going to ask a dumb question here, but has the little guy been seen by a quality vet? We have found that the breeders are clueless a lot of the time, and just in it for the money.

No such thing as a dumb question! This is a breeder we have gotten a puppy from prior in perfect health. We have had two vets look at him and the second one just told us that he may grow out of it ; if we desire to continue to look into it we can have him looked at by an ortho specialist. There was no pain in his joints when he checked him , . I was referred to look into sure grow to assist in his bone growth.

Good deal, our male who we call son has had a lot of health problems. Thankfully he’s now 6 years old and is doing well.
