Help: Major Surgery and Anesthesia

UPDATE: So Nellie made it through the surgery!!! They had a bit of an issue transitioning her back from anethesia but she finally came to. She is breathing just fine but still very heavily sedated due to the meds she was given. They will be changing that to something that'll make her less sleepy. They ended up electing not to do one of the surgeries. The one that was meant to close her diaphragm a bit. Based on what they found they figured it'll cause more issues for her if they tightened it. They also did the biopsies and will get results back in 3-5 days. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!! I'm glad she made it through. They won't let me visit her though. The said it will make her anxious. Now fingers crossed that her issues will stop after this. Hopefully the biopsies don't bring more issues. I'll et you all know how the recovery goes. She will be discharged saturday morning.

So happy she pulled through the procedure.... continued prayers for a quick recovery

I'm really pleased to hear this! I often think about her!

They'll take great care of her while she's recovering, and you'll have her home soon. Keep us posted on the results of the biopsies :-)
