Help - my baby is sick

Last night I picked up my frenchie and he yelped. Since then he has been acting extremely weird. He pants/breathes strangely and is shaking. I wasn't sure if it is because he is holding in his poop - we got a snow storm yesterday and he wouldn't go out to poop. He is also hiding from me when I try to get near him which is extremely unusual for him. It makes me so sad for him. The vet cannot see him until 3pm today - I am so worried. Any thoughts??

He may have hurt his back. I would keep him quiet and just try to have him rest until you can have the vet take a look at him. Good luck and keep us posted.

Hiding and shaking is a sign of pain... I hope it is that he is just holding in the poo and nothing is wrong. please keep us posted

This is when we really wish our pets could talk to us. I hope all is well with Keisel; my boys don't mind the snow, but they HATE going out to take care of business when it is raining hard!
