Bella is a 7 yo Frenchie! The poor girl has had skin issues since she was a pup! We have tried numerous foods with no luck. Currently, she is eating science diet ZD, while it seems to help her from getting all pink and scratchy, it is real expensive -$80 for 17pds. Also, she has awfull breath- teeth are very clean, smells like upset stomach.
She also has been tested for allergies, turns out she is allergic to several strains of grass, particularly Pig Weed!? So, she gets Alergy shots every two weeks- also very expensive!
Finally, the poor girl has minor siezure episodes randomly.
I don’t know if this is all related but, I thought I would throw it out there...
Thanks for reading!

I would try switching her to dehydrated raw ( eg. honest kitchen, spot farm, Only Natural EasyRaw, Grandma Lucy's ) , or better yet frozen raw. Avoid chicken. Start with a protein like duck and if she does ok with that, try switching to another one like pork or fish after a while. It's good to have 3 proteins you can switch around with to avoid buildup of allergy.

Allergy shots every 2 weeks- if it gets too expensive you can give sublingual immunotherapy drops at home that are a prescription item from your vet- either the specific allergens your pet reacts with, or a shotgun immunotherapy like Respit which doesn't need prior allergy testing. RESPIT - The Practical Alternative to Allergy Testing for Pets | Pet Allergy Relief If not working after a year, you can get vet to inject your dog with Cytopoint every 4-6 weeks for environmental allergies.

Some bulldogs get idiopathic head tremours/focal seizures which are harmless- if it's that you can put frankincense oil on his foot pads and inner flap of ear and they will go away. Or a teaspoonful Karo light corn syrup. If they are real seizures you can try giving cannabadiol oil on a regular basis.
