History repeating itself

Latest update. Ron is doing well. He had the temporary neck sutures removed that were holding his neck folds back and so far he’s not doing too bad. Still some concern in regards to the secretions from the stoma but we are just keeping on top of the cleaning.
In himself the anxiety seems to be lessening and he has started some albeit tentative play with his buddies.
I have made an Instagram for him to chart his journey as it has been very difficult to find anything online.

We wanted to show the whole process so that if anyone else is facing this decision has a true reflection of the challenges and the joy.

Great progress and a wonderful idea to share your journey....continued prayers for you all

Hi everyone just wanted to update. Rons still doing well. Everyday is a blessing and he continues to amaze us. We cannot seem to find any other owners of dogs with tracheostomy’s online so if anyone knows of any we would love to know.

Have you tired reaching out to local rescues? Not shelters, a rescue, they tend to have experience in lots of rare type issues.

Hi, I am going through something very similar with my little boy. I would love to speak to someone who has experienced something like this for advice before I go for his permanent tracheostomy.

How is your boy doing I’m praying he is still doing well!
