Saw this pup on Instagram and is it possible? Ive never seen a color like this.

There's a breeder by us that produces these.. I think they're like part chihuahua to get the color. As far as I understand it, purebred Frenchies can't be merles.

As [MENTION=664]eeturk[/MENTION] mentioned, it is a cross breed of Frenchie and Chihuahua.

This colour (merle) is not desired and can bring many severe eye diseases up to the level of missing eye/eyes, wondering eyes and other eye defects.
There are many warnings in KCs web sites about this specific combination. As cute as they are...better to stay away and not encourage such breeding. These "rare" colours also are typically advertised with sky high price tags.

I have never seen one either...

I see so many of these puppies on Instagram. I bet they charge a lot for them even though they aren't 'true' Frenchies.

^^^ when I saw this all I can say is damn the price but good thing to have Tapatalk to ask around. I just think it's sad, these pups and their diseases though.

Cute pup but very expensive to buy and provide healthcare for. I am totally against breeders who don't breed for health and temperament.

Very unique looking! I was also wondering about them, they all of a sudden started popping up all over instagram. I would have to do more research in order to make a comment
