I am trying to buy this 12 week old male french bulldog from Craigslist. Meeting up with him tomorow. He claims it is a pure bred. Could you guys tell me just by looking at the picture if it's pure Frenchie? By looking at the pic I can't help but see a little bit of Boston Terrier in him.

His ears appear to have a sharp top like a triangel whereas Frenchy ears are more round at the top(like a bat).
His nose is also a little longer. Some Frenchys are bred with a little longer nose(which I prefer over totally squished in faces) but too me it looks like he has something mixed in. Either a Boston or another small dog.

He doesn't look full Frenchie to me. The ears and muzzle don't look correct, but he's still a cutie.

I would be surprised to see a quality Frenchie on craigslist.

First, he's darling. Second -- I'd ask to see the parents. Especially if he is asking the typical French Bulldog price. He has a frenchie face, muzzle is a little bit long... but it's the ears that are throwing me off. Either way, cute -- & would make a great pet.

To me the ears say no. But seriously adorable none the less, and Id probably still consider!

He is a cutie for sure, but doesn't seem full blood to me. Like others have said, ears are just not right and the nose is too long. Damn puppy mills, I hate them.

Here is a pic of a 9 week old Frenchie.

and at 10 weeks old.

You can see the difference in the nose.

Part Frenchie, maybe, but he is a cutie pie.

Definitely not a full bred Frenchie. The ears are pointy like a Boston and its muzzle seems wrong. It's a very cute puppy.
