is this cherry eye?

I just noticed side of her eye looked very red and kind of swollen. Was wondering if it is cherry eye or something. please help!

Hi, I don't believe this is cherry eye. Cherry eye is more a protrusion. Bambi's whites of her eyes can be a little bloodshot. It look's like Luna's redness is isolated to one specific area vs. generalized? If so, I might have your vet look at it. Others who know more can chime in.

The cherry eye my dogs have had looked more like a small peeled grape kind of a bulge. Could she have scratched her eye?

That looks more like irritation .. some eye drops might help clear it up

Someone mentioned in another post their dog had dry eyes due to lachrymal glands not producing tears, and their dog was on three different eye drops. Not sure what your dog has though.

I had a havanese pup with cherry eye and there was a bulge in the corner. It was quite large. Your girl looks to me to be irritated.

Looks more like an infection in the third eye lid to me.
