Hello from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

My name is Lisa and my family has two dogs. Junior is a four-month-old pied French bulldog puppy, and Lola is a nine-year-old fawn pug. We brought Junior home in late June 2015, and I know this group will not be surprised to hear that our lives have not been the same since. We love his Frenchie playfulness, the up-for-anything attitude, his cuddly nature, and even his bullheaded stubbornness. He is growing like a weed, and we're currently in the middle of a series of puppy classes at our local pet supply store. Lola has accepted Junior very graciously, although as an older girl she does need some time alone, so she retreats to another floor of the house when he's on a puppy rampage. When they do play, it's not uncommon to see Lola run by with Junior literally hanging by his jaws from the skin around her neck. Lola has also been great about teaching him some manners. One wrong move, and she throws him on his back. He squeaks once, and it's done. Here is a pic from when he was about three months old.

I'll look forward to learning more about you, your Frenchies, and your other pets.

Welcome!! Junior is adorable!!! Yes, they are stubborn but they are also so much fun! I'm glad Lola is being patient with him, they can be little buggers. :D

:welcome:

Junior is so cute! Frenchies are definitely stubborn but they are so silly and cute.

This is Lola, our 9-year-old pug girl, playing in the Edmonton river valley. She's very energetic for a pug, but was sad for a couple of years after our male pug died in 2013. Now that Junior is here, though, Lola is very much like a puppy herself. It has made a big positive change in her life. The boy who died was Crash, pictured here in his cart. He had hind end weakness his whole life, but had a great 11 years nonetheless.

What a great looking pair.... Love the name Crash, so fitting:heart:

Junior is adorable! I think our second one is going to be a blue pied! Does he have any allergies? Someone once told me the blue pieds have more allergies... not sure if this is true or not?

But anyway he is adorable! Welcome to the forum! I am from Canada also, BC:yes:

Junior is adorable! Frenchies certainly are addicting. We love our two so much. That's nice Lola is taking to Junior nicely.
Sorry for your loss of Crash - what a great name.

Aw Lola is so cute! That's so nice she has a new found happiness with her new puppy sibling!

And so was Crash! I am glad he had a long happy life! :)

Awwww; so happy how Junior has taken your house - and hearts - by storm. I bet Lola will soon be smitten, too. She won't be able to help it. That's how it was with Ginger, our 10 year old dobie mix. Bambi came home with us one day and insisted they be friends. She is such a harmless goof. Now when Ginger gets up on the bed, she snuggles right next to Bambi. They are great buds.

God bless you for taking such good care of Crash.

Welcome! More pics, please!
