Aww but she's so cute sitting up there mashing the cushion down . My Pekingese used to sleep on a certain cushion on the back of the sofa. It stayed mashed down, but she was so cute I just couldn't break her from it!
Q-Roux is a riot. If one of her legs gets caught in her shirt or leash, she hops around like a 3 legged dog instead of getting fussy and trying to get out of the mess. Per the below makes me laugh just as much.
As you can tell, I had the worse weekend ever, sailing Newport Beach and Balboa Island. The truth is, it was actually horrible. I missed Quella so badly. I haven't been away from her for more than 8 hours and that barely even happens once a month. No joke, all of my vacations are going to have to be dog friendly from here on out. [emoji6]
Quella got her pedigree. No one recognizable but better than not having it. What I don't understand is that the same dog was bred on the mom and dad's side. Interesting, eh?
Usually the cat sits on the brown blanket that I put on an upside down rubbermaid, but I put a portable mattress pad up against the window for Quella as well and now Q looks out off the window for a good 25% of the day while I work from home. It's nice that she gets to see the kids walking to/from the high school across the street as well as birds, cars and people walking/biking, etc. I also have a window in the upstairs bedroom that goes down to the floor and I've been opening the wooden blinds and she loves that as well. Curious lil girl. The few times I tried to let her see out the windows she had no interest, so this time I trapped her in the area for a good 20 mins and it forced her to look outside rather than follow me upstairs while I work. I guess in that 20 mins she realized that watching outside is pretty pawesome.
