Loose stools and congestion :(

Augie has another appointment with the vet on Monday to get his blood drawn for the allergy test. I'm going to talk with the vet and see which testing he recommends, especially since I'm extremely reluctant to do allergy shots yet.

Is he still not eating? He has a lot if symptoms that lead me to think he may have a partial obstruction as well. Have they done a blood draw to check his levels? Poor baby, something just feels off here. He's been having problems for such a long time.

Hope things are better we have our fingers and paws crossed that they find the problem, cyber hugs and scratches- wish we could do more

He's back to eating. I gave him hamburger/rice bland food Sunday night, and then weaned him back onto kibble. Right now I've been giving him Acana Duck and Pear (the new formula that is potato free) and no raw. I think it was the yams in the Primal that made him so sick. I haven't tried giving him any raw since it all happened, other than giving him bits of stella and chewy's patties as treats.

When I took him to the vet Wednesday I saw a vet I'd never seen before. My normal one had a family emergency so he was not there, and I really didn't like the one I saw. She did examine him closely, but only suggested trying a medication that they never keep in stock. She actually didn't even mention the allergy testing, it was the lady that works the front desk that did.

Augie got drawn this morning for his allergy test, and I went ahead and had them do the full panel. I'm just hoping they got enough blood from him and we don't have to go back. :fingerscrossed:
