Hi all Fabio is from Cape Town in South Africa. He is 1 year old and has had an incredibly tough year. Not long after I got him after a lot of research and a scope when he reached 6kgs he was diagnosed with Hystiocytic Ulcerative colitis, which we treated with Baytril but it did not work. I took him off meds for 2 mths wanted to try raw food but he began battling to eat. I had to hand feed him. We put him on cortisone to help with the bleeding but within a week he lost over 1kg and developed Pyoderma. We had a 2nd scope had to have his eyelids and stenotic nares done. Which didn't help much. We did another scope to get more organisms to check the EColi. He has just had soft palate resection and various nodules removed and is 48 hours later and he is really battling at night. But we will soldier on. He is my Braveheart.:angelheart::heartsign::heartsign:
