My puppy had Giardia ( how do I change his food now? )

Hello everyone,
Kota is 12 weeks old,he was in the clinic for a week with
Giardia
He was eating Fromm grain free for puppies,when he was in the clinic they told me that he has all this allergies (they test him for everything)
And they gave me their food for severe allergies and stomach problems,he is eating 3 times a day,quarter of a cup each time,if he is starving I give extra food but then he gets sick again
He's getting better not 100% .He lost 2 pounds he weighs 8.4 pounds at this time
So after doing my research I decided to switch to Honest Kitchen
The problem is that I don't know if I have to transition from one food to another??
I need my puppy to get better!!!!!

You can just go right to THK.... I did that with my guy when he was having issues and he did just fine. add a little pure pumpkin just incase, but I do not think there would be an issue.

I have always transitioned my dogs slowly to avoid stomach upset and diahrrea.

My boy had giardia horrifically, I switched him cold turkey 3 different times. It made no difference. I'd switch 100% and add pure pumpkin or some goats milk? I know quite a few people who have used that
