New Puppy... Ears?

So our new boy comes home tomorrow, he'll be 9 weeks. First time puppy owner & first time Frenchie owner! My husband named him after the most badass guy on TV (his words lol) - Jack Bauer. I'm like a little kid on Christmas Eve, I just can't sleep I'm so excited. Welll here he is!

So I'm pretty sure all his siblings ears all went up but my boy's is still flopping around. In the video I was sent today it's even more noticeable and seems like they're more down. Is this normal? What does this mean? Any comments/advice will be much appreciated. And I'm sure this is only the start of my questions. Love that I found a great community to share this experience with! - Liz

Usually Frenchie ears go up between the 5. and the 7. Week but sometimes it takes longer. Unless his ears are infected(red and smelly) I wouldnt worry. They will come up

Yes that was me

My breeder told me that sometimes when they have especially thick ears, it just takes a little longer for them to pop up.

If you really are concerned in another week or so, there are ways to assist them.

Welcome to the site and your baby is just to cute. I wouldn't worry about his ears, they will come up soon. Most will be up by week 5 or so, but some just take a little longer. I am looking forward in seeing pics of your baby grow and hear stories of him.

(I notice in some pics it may seem like his ears went up but only one goes up at times... still just the cutest boy.)
